Remember a few weeks ago when I commented on the fog in Dubai? Well, the weather really took its toll on morning commuters last Tuesday - a thick blanket of fog caused the worst ever accident in UAE history. 200 cars were involved leaving 3 people dead and almost 400 injured. Fortunately, no one I know was involved in the crash, but the road on which the accident took place is widely traveled since people are always headed back and forth between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Hopefully the government cracks down soon and starts enforcing some more rigid road rules.
